A delegation from International Labor Organization (ILO) led by Francis De Silva, Senior Specialist B-SEP Project, ILO visited Daffodil International University (DIU) on Tuesday.
The other member of the delegation was ANM Tanjel Ahsan, Programme Officer, ILO country office for Bangladesh. Prof Dr A K M Fazlul Haque, Registrar, DIU welcomed the delegates.
Later the delegates had discussion meeting with the top management of DIU and Daffodil group for future collaboration to work together.
They also discussed matters to create opportunity for new entrepreneurs and knowledge seekers to be trained for their development and starting business.
Among others Prof Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof Dr M Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof Dr M Fokhray Hossain, Director (International Affairs), Prof Shahid Uddin Ahmed, Advisor, Bachelor of Entrepreneurship Development (BED), Prof Dr Mahboob Ali, Coordinator, Bachelor of Entrepreneurship Development (BED), Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Head, Department of Business Administration, Mohamed Emran Hossain, Director (Administration), Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Executive Director, Daffodil Education Network, K M Hassan Ripon, CEO, jobsbd.com and other high officials were present.
