Illegal occupiers evicted from Tea Board land

Chittagong district administration and Bangladesh Tea Board have evicted the illegal occupiers from the land of Bangladesh Tea Board on Sunday. There was no any unwanted occurrences as there were hundreds of policemen and Rapid Action Battalion members present during the eviction drive.
 According to sources, the illegal occupiers had occupied 10 kathas of land of Bangladesh Tea Board at its office side. The value of grabbed land was around taka 6 to 7 crore. Bangladesh Tea Board has taken the step to evict the illegal occupiers after long time. The authorities called law enforcers in association with Chittagong district administration for the drive.
 The magistrate of Chittagong District Administration and law enforcers recovered the lands of Bangladesh Tea Board by demolishing the establishments on the land.
College student dies on Dhaka Ctg rail line: One college student died in an accident on Dhaka-Chittagong rail line at Kumira under Sitakunda thana in Chittagong on Saturday morning. The ill-fated is identified as Mahamuda Akter Mili (22), daughter of Abu Taher of Kajipara village at Kumira under Sitakunda thana in Chittagong. The victim was a student of BA class at Bijoy Soroni College.
Railway police said, police heard the news of death of college student Mahmuda Akter Mili this morning. Later, police rushed to the spot and recovered the beheaded body of the victim. Police said, the victims may cut under train at around 9 am. Police sent the body of the victim to the morgue for autopsy.
