A mobile court of the Chittagong district administration on Monday sealed off an ice cream factory for running its business illegally and using harmful ingredients.
The owner of the factory — Dolphin Ice Bar in the city’s Chandgaon — fled the scene sensing their presence, said Executive Magistrate Ruhul Amin who conducted the drive.
The court also destroyed around a thousand ice creams.
Mentionable, the court sealed off two more ice cream factories in the area for the same offence on Sunday.
