Vice Chancellor of International Islamic University Chittagong Prof. AKM Azharul Islam attenended the orientation programme at the permanent canpus in Kumira in Chittagong as Chief Guest recently .
Student affairs division (STAD) organised the programme for the new commer of Autumn Semestar 2014.
The chief guest said, the university should maintain quality of education and quality research to keep peace with todays globalization.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abu Bakr Rafique presided over the meeting.Acting Chairman of IIUC Board of Trustee and Chairman of Finance Commitee Prof. Ahsanullah Bhuyian and Vice chairman of IIUC Trust Dr. Kazi Deen Mohammed were present as special guests.
Among the speakers present in the meeting Dean of Science and Engineering Departrment Prof. Dr. Mohammed Delwar Hossain ,Dean of Shariah Faculty Dr. Giasuddin Hafiz, Dean of Business Studies Prof. Dr. Farid Ahmed Sobhani, chief of Female Campus Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman,
Acting Director of Students Affairs Division Mohammed Mamun- or- Rashid also spoke at the the function.
Speacial guest Prof. Ahsan ullah Bhuyan said that we established the University with a dream .
Pro- Vice Chancellor Dr. Abu bakr Rafique said that about 17 thousand graduated from this University and now thirteen thousand students are studying in this University.
