Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, Controller of Defense Finance and M Nurul Alam, CEO of MNA Associates, have been elected as President and Secretary General of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Bangladesh (IIAB).
They were elected at its annual general meeting at the IIAB’s head office in the city on Saturday. The IIAB, an associate organization of the Institute of Internal Auditors, is working for internal audit, risk management and establishing rules of law in the country, said a press release.
It also provides professional certificates for Certified Internal Auditors (CIA). Over three hundred members of the IIAB are working in government and non-government institutions across the country. It was established aiming at expanding internal audit and increasing members of the CIA and following this, it conducts different professional training.
Its ten-member governing body is being elected for three years.
