Inspector General of Police Dr Md. Javed Patwari directed the police personnel to work being friendly related with the mass in every respects.
He disclosed it while addressing the meeting of views exchanging on law and order at Dampara police line on Tuesday as Chief Guest.
The IGP exchanged views with the DIG Chittagong police range, CMP commissioner, Police Bureau of Investigation , CID, Naval police, Industrial police officials in the meeting. He directed the law enforcers to go ahead with the aim of elimination of militancy, drug abuse, and other social criminal offenses relentlessly. CMP commissioner apprised the IGP for force crisis in the metro police The IGP assures the CMP for deploy of more forces very shortly.
Among others, DIG Khondakar Golam Faruk, Addl.DIG SM Rokanuddin, Addl DIG Abul Foiz, addl. Commissioner of CMP Masudul Hasan, Kusum Dewan, Amena Begum were present in it. Earlier in the afternoon, IGP held meeting with the law enforcers at Halishahar district police line with senior officials of police department, sources said.
