The final matches of IFIC Bank 8th National Beach Volleyball competition will be played today (Monday) at Cox’s Bazar Beach at Sugandha point.
In the first semifinal match held on Sunday, saw defending Champions Bangladesh Palli Unnayan Board cruised to the final beating Bangladesh Police by 2-0 sets.
In the second semifinals Bangladesh Navy also choose the similar passage to final defeating Bangladesh Jail by 2-0 sets.
Chittagong District Sports Association women’s team booked their place for the women’s final when they defeated Naba Jagoroni Club by 2-0 sets in the first semifinals.
In the second women’s semifinals, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP fought hard to qualify for the finals as they edged past Chittagong Mohammedans by 2-1 sets.
10 men’s and 12 women teams are taking part in four day long competition organized by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation and sponsored by IFIC Bank Limited.
