Over two hundreds more employees of the Islamic Foundation (IFA), who were recruited on a daily wage basis, took part in a protest for their due salaries allowances and job security.
On Sunday, around 224 employees working in outsourcing staged a sit-in and demonstration inside the IFA Bhabon.
At that time, they chanted different slogans demanding arrears of salary for the last 13 months and make permanent their jobs.
At one point, when their seniors tried to subdue the situation, the agitators were locked in some altercation with them.
They also sought the Prime Minister’s attention on this matter to get their salary allowances of the last year with arrears and fill the vacancies.
When one of them fell ill during this protest, later he was taken to the hospital.
The protesters also said that if the demand is not met, more strict action will be taken later.
