The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 on Tuesday issued arrest warrant against 11 alleged Razakars of Jessore district. The 11 are- Ibrahim Hossain, Md Billal Hossain, Sheikh Md Mujibur Rahman, Md A Aziz Sarder, Qazi Ohidur Islam alias Qazi Wahidur Salam, Md Aziz Sarder, Lutfor Morol, Abdul Khalek Morol, Md Akram Hossain, Ojihar Morol and Moshiar Rahman.
The first tribunal issued the warrant accepting a plea of the prosecutor Rezia Sultana Chemon.
According to the prosecution, involvement of these eleven in the crimes against humanity was found during the investigation into the alleged crimes committed by former Jamaat and BNP MP Mawlana Sakhawat Hossain, who is, now in jail.
“All of them, including Sakhawat are partners in crimes against humanity and they need to be arrested for proper investigation in this regard,” Chemon said.
After that, the tribunal issued the order.
Sakhawat, arrested on November 29, 2014, was interrogated by the investigation agency of the ICT on January 22.
