ICMAB delegates left Dhaka to attend SAFA meeting

A four-member delegation of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) headed by its President Abu Sayed Md Shaykhul Islam FCMA left Dhaka today for Kathmandu, Nepal to participate in South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Board meeting which is going to be held between March 27 and 29, 2015.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN), World Bank and the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) jointly organized the events.
 The delegation will attend the other programmes such as CAPA events, Nepal Public Sector Roundtable and International Conference on Public Sector Financial Management and meet with the SAARC Secretary General.
The team members Muzaffar Ahmed FCMA, AKM Delwer Hussain FCMA and Mohammed Salim, FCMA Past Presidents and present Council Members of the Institute will represent the ICMAB at the meetings of SAFA like Small & Medium Practices (SMP) Committee, Task Force to implement BASEL-II in SAFA Countries, Education, Training & CPD Committee and 39th SAFA Board Meeting.
