Ibtedayee Madrasa Teachers’ Asso demands nationalisation of madrasa

Central leaders of Bangladesh Satantra Ibtedayee Madrasa Teachers’ Association urged the Government to nationalise all ibtadayee madrasas of the country having registration from madrasa education board and thus save the poor and deprived madrasa teachers from ruination.
They were addressing a big madrasa teachers’ rally on Thursday arranged at central Shahid minar premises by Nilphamari District Unit of the organisation. Presided over by Md Habibur Rahman, district president of Bangladesh Satantra ibtedayee madrasa teachers association, the rally was attended as chief guest by Alhaj Kazi Ruhul Amin Chowdhury, president of central committee of the association while Md Tajul Islam Farazi, general secretary and Md Nazrul Islam Hiron, senior vice president of the organization were also present as chief speaker and special guests respectively. A large number of ibtedayee madrasa teachers from district’s all six upazilas attended the rally.Md Kazi Ruhul Amin, central committee president in his speech demanded to govt. to amend satantra ibtedayee madrasa rules-2018 for the sake of easy nationalization of the madrasas.He also urged to govt. saying that all satantra ibtedayee madrasa teachers who are serving for years without any salary should be enrolled in govt list and should be provided training.
