One housewife was strangulated to death on first hour of the new year at Raozan area in Chittagong. The victim identified as Minu Akhter(25) .Raozan police sources said following the family feud between the husband Md. Iskandar and wife Minu Akhter , husband killed her by triangulation .
The victim hails from Hathazari Chipatali village , daughter of Ishaque Miah and married with Md. Iskander of Dalilabad of Raozan poura area with Md. Iskander , son of Md. Nurzamma . Minu Akhter immediate after the incident, brought at local health complex by the family members of Md. Iskander.
After declaration of death of Minu Akhter by the hospital doctors, the family members quickly escaped from the spot leaving the dead body at health complex, sources said. Police recovered the body from hospital authority and sent to Chittagong Medical college hospital morgue for autopsy, a Raozan correspondent Mir Aslam sources said.
A UD case has been registered with the Raozan thana, sources said.
