Chittagong Bureau :
A woman was killed by her husband at Salim Colony area under Chandgaon Thana in port city on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Sadiya, 30, wife of Muhammad Hanif, hailed from the same colony.
Nayek Shilabrata Barua of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost said, seriously injured Sadiya was rushed to CMCH at around 11:30am while on-duty doctors declared her dead.
CMCH Police sources said that they arrested Hanif and handed over to the Chandgaon Police Station.
In preliminary interrogation, Hanif confessed that he killed Sadiya by a sharp weapon in the morning following a family feud.
Police also said that Hanif has another wife.
