Hundreds of people of all walks of life have been facing untold sufferings daily in passing through this bamboo made bridge on Shalika River at Patkelghata in Satkhira. Even some are seen driving motorcycle and rickshaws by risking their lives over the bridge. A concrete bridge is urgently needed for the welfare of the people as part of the development of the area.
