Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested an alleged Hundi trader along with 22 lakh Indian rupees and USD 3000 from his possession in Amrakhali area of Benapole Port Police Station on Monday night. The arrestee is Mohammad Mozammel Hossain 45 son of Abdur Rahim of Fatullah in Dahaka district.
Commanding Officer of BGB 49 Battalion Lt Col Selim Reja said a team of BGB members conducted a drive in Benapole Amra khali area and arrested Mozammel Hossain along with the money. Later, the arrestee was handed over to Benapole Port Police Station with the money. A case was filed.
