Humayun Ahmed’s books still top selection for book-lovers

The books of Humayun Ahmed is the best sale still today. The popular writer died in 2012.
The fair has elapsed its 18 days, the books written by late Humayun Ahmad remain the core attraction of the month-long book fair, according to publishers and stalls attendants.
Among the best-selling books of Humayun Ahmad are “Josna and Janani’r Golpo”, “Josnatriye”, “Badsha Namdar”, “Madhyahna” and “Matal Hawa”, “Himu series”, “Deyal” according to stalls represents.
Annyaprokash is one of the popular stalls of the fair gracing more than hundreds of his books where book-lovers head to buy books written by Humayun Ahmad.
Besides, Kakoli, Annesha,Samay, Anupam and Pearl publishing houses have fetched some books of Humayun Ahmad.
Rasel Sarker, a fan of Humayun Ahmad, said,”there is a weird enchantment in the writing of Humayun Ahmed , which keeps up the reader’s psyche. If you start to read a book, you cannot get salvation without
reading the whole book.” “Humayun is an icon of the younger generation. Fluent narration, imagery, sweetness of language, humour, beautiful character building and above all summary of stories amuse the readers,” he added.
“Humayun Ahmad is one of the foremost writers. There is no one around him according to sales,” Imtiaz Rahman, manager of Annyaprokash, said.
“Annyaprokash publishing house and Humayun Ahmed are synonymous. His books are on the top of our sales this year,” he added.
Tareq, a sales representative of Annesha publication, said, “Readers come and ask what the books of Humayun Ahmed have remained in our stall. They are watching out for something best from new writers, but they are not getting it most of the time.”
