Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP said, people of Raozan irrespective of religions are enjoying equal rights during my tenure of last 14 years and there is no discrepancy among religions.
 He said mosques, mandirs, pados are being built in this upazila without any discrimination.
He said ‘ I believe religion for respective community but festival for all combined.
He disclosed it while addressing the discussion meeting on Human Welfare as arranged Raozan Nandipara Kalibigraha Mandir managing committee on Tuesday night as chief guest. DIG of Chittagong Range Police Dr.SM Muniruzzaman participated the discussions as chief discussant. Vice President of Chittagong Union of Journalists Nirupam Dasgupta presided over and it was moderated by its general secrestary Rajib Das. President of Bangladesh Puja Udjapo n Parishad Shamal Kumar Palit was the principal inaugurator of the discussion. Former Presdent of PUP, chittagong District Unit Dilip Kumar Majumder, UNO of Raozan Shamim Hossain Reza, Addl Police super Mashidowlla, ASP, Rangunia circle Md. Jahangir, Panel Mayor Basir Khan, Second Panel mayor Jamiruddin Parvez, business personality Kamaluddin, Councilor Jane Alam Jani, AL leader Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, Kamrul Islam Bahadur, Irfan Ahmed Chowdury, UP Chairman Syed Abdul Jabbar Sohel, former councilor Samimul Islam Samu attended the discussions as honourable guests.
