Students of Tripura Community formed a human chain on Tuesday protesting the rape of two Tripura girls in Lama occurred recently.
The human chain was formed under the banner of Tripura Students Council.
Representatives of different communities also took part in the human chain.
After the programme, central leader of Marma Students Council Ongthuikhay Marma, Tripura Students Forum leader Proshanta Tripura, Chakma Students Forum leader Thoaikka Jai Chak and Mro community representative Ringo Mro also spoke on the occasion.
On August 22, two Tripura girls were allegedly raped by three BGB members at Banfur area in Lama Upazila.
