The teachers and students of National University enlisted colleges of Chittagong formed human chain at Govt City College premises in city yesterday demanding stoppage of violence and anarchy in the name of political programs across the country.
The human chain continued for about one hour from 11 am. The teachers, students of Chittagong College, Mohsin College, Govt Women College, Govt Commerce College, Nazirhat College, Hathazari College, Raozan College, Sir Asho Tosh College, MES College took part in the human chain. Prof of City college Prof. Alex Alim told that to protest the countrywide violence and anarchy, the students, teachers of the colleges under NU observed this protest program .
As per decision of the NU syndicate meeting on Friday to form humanchain against anarchy, violence , 2,154 colleges across the country formed human chain yesterday at the same time, sources said.
