A storm of protest is raging across the country over the rape and torture of a housewife in Begumganj, Noakhali.
People of various professions have been protesting across the country for the last few days demanding ‘exemplary’ punishment for the culprits. Students have also staged protests and human chains in Mymensingh demanding punishment for those involved in the rape of Begum Ganj’s housewife and Sylhet MC College housewife.
The program was held under the banner of general students on Wednesday (October 7) at noon in the town hall premises of the city. The students chanted anti-rape slogans, including “Protest, now is the time to resist,” and “Wake up against rape.” He also holds anti-rape placards with various writings. Speakers at the human chain said that the whole country has turned into a sanctuary of rape and torture. Drug addicts and extortionists are becoming reckless in every neighborhood.
Terrorists are associated with almost every incident. The ruling party terrorists are directly involved in the incidents in Noakhali and MC College. The speakers further said that these terrorists have become more reckless as they have not been tried due to the seizure of power.
As a result, on the one hand, injustice, on the other hand, drugs, pornography, is creating a bad attitude towards women. In this situation, a united resistance movement has to be formed against women oppressors and terrorists in every neighborhood. At that time, they demanded speedy implementation of the seven-point demand given by the High Court.
