An hour long human chain was formed demanding to declaration of Lalmonirhat as special economical zone ( SEZ) at Mission Crossing on Saturday.
District Chambers of Commerce and Industries and Lalmoni Sachetan Samaj Unnayan jointly arranged the human chain.
They also demanded re-opening of the closed Mogholhat Customs and Immigration Checkpoint at Lalmonirhat Airport for flight movement and lease railway abandoned lands for building business centres and others in the town.
