Green Association of Bangladesh formed a human chain and brought out procession demanding to stop adulteration of food and mixing the poisonous chemicals in the food items on Monday. The human chain was formed at Chittagong Press Club premises.
At that time, a rally was also held demanding stoppage of adulteration of food and mixing the poisonous chemicals in the food items. The rally was chaired by Mohammad Junab Ali. The Vice Chancellor of Chittagong Independent University Prof Dr Mahafujul Haque Chowdhury addressed the rally as chief guest while Noman Ullah Bahar moderated the function.
Among others, Ward Councilor Chowdhury Hasasn Mahmud Hasni, Soibal Das Summon, Ifthekhar Uddin Javed, Selina Sheli, Chowdhury Farid addressed the rally.
Later, the activists of Green Association brought out a procession which paraded the important roads in the city.
