Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will begin across the country from April 3 instead of April 1 due to the Upazila Parishad election.
Subodh Chandra Dhali, Deputy Chief Information Officer of the Education Ministry, said that the examinations had been deferred by two days at the request of the Election Commission.
The HSC and its equivalent examinations had been beginning from April 1 for last five years.
As per the election schedules, the fifth phase of the
upazila elections in 65 local government bodies will be held on March 31.
