President of World Human Rights Development (WHRD), USA Shah Shahidul Haque has condemned the atrocities of Myanmar Government on Rohingyas and urged the United Nations (UN) to take stern actions in this regard.
Mr Haque who is now in a visit to Bangladesh said, WHRD organised rally, human chain and other programmes to raise voice against violation of human rights by the Myanmar Government and it also donated to Prime Minister’s Fund for the victims of cyclone Sidr and Nimtali fire incident .
While talking to The New Nation yesterday, Shah Shahidul Haque human right activist Haque said, the country has achieved tremendous success in various sector led by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bangladesh is now a role model due to her visionary thinking.
He further said, Dr Yunus era is over, there are eminent persons who can led the country abroad.
He mentioned the name of mega development projects such as Ruppur Nuclear Power Station, Payra Sea Port, Sonadia Deep Sea Port, Matarbari Power Station, Sheikh Mujib International Air Port, Padma Bridge Project , Metro Rail and Dhaka-Chittagong Flyover and opined that when these projects will be implemented, the country will see a new height in the world.
