UNB, Patuakhali :
Police recovered the body of a housewife with the throat slashed from her house at Katakhali village in Sadar upazila on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Beauty Begum,45, a resident of the village. Police said, on information from the deceased’s family members, police recovered the body of Beauty from her house in the area in the morning.
Later, the body was sent to Patuakhali Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Jakir Hossain, officer-in-charge (Investigation) of Sadar Police Station, confirmed the incident.
An unnatural death case was filed in this connection.
