A housewife was stabbed to death and two others critically injured by miscreants at Chalk Borohor village in Kapasia upazila on early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Rojina, 53, wife of Siddik Sheikh, resident of the village.
Ahsan Ullah, officer-in-charge of Kapasia Police Station, said a gang of miscreants numbering 12/13 entered the house of Siddique Sheikh at the village around 2:30am breaking open the door.
The gang stabbed Rojina, Siddique and their son Sumon indiscriminately, which left Rojina dead on the spot.
