Miscreants hacked a housewife to death at a house of Mirzar Pool of Pachlaish in Chittagong city.
The incident took place at fourth floor of high-rise building Equity Village in the area.
The Deceased is identified as Sharmin Aktar, 25, wife of Abu Dhabi expartiate Abdul Hakim. Sharmin is his second wife. Pachlaish thana inspector (investigation) Giasuddin confirmed it to the media.
Police said deceased’s husband Abdul Hakim’s first wife stays at fourth floor of Equity Village. Sharmin went to visit the house a week ago.
Police took Rozi Aktar to thana for interogation. A gang of robbers killed Sharmin during robbery, claimed Rozi.
But deceased’s uncle Mohammad Azim alleged that Rozi designed the killing. Sharmin owns a son, he added.
