A housewife named Minara Begum (35) was killed in a collision with a motorcycle at Bilbilas village in Baufalupazila of Patuakhali. Her husband’s name is Bazlur Rahman Kabiraj.
Witnesses said Minara Begum was hit by running motorbike while going from one side of the road to the other in the Baraitala area of the village around 8:30 am on Sunday. He fainted on the spot. At that time, her brother-in-law Fazlul Haque Kabiraj took her to Baufal Hospital. But the doctor on duty declared her death.
Mostafizur Rahman, the OC of Baufal thana, said that necessary legal steps would be taken in this regard.
