A housewife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at Dulalpara village in Mohadevpur upazila on Friday morning.
Police said family members found Sohra Khatun Bristi, 25, wife of Nahid, hanging from the ceiling of her room in the morning. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue
for autopsy, said officer-in-charge of Mohadevpur Police Station Mizanur Rahman.
However, it is still not clear what prompted Bristi to end her own life, the OC added.
