Home Minister launches anti -drug campaign

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan MP said three measures launched to resist the uses of drugs in the country. He said according to the directives of the Prime Minister , law enforcing agency, RAB and police members are relentlessly working to eliminate the drug use from the society .
 The Minister told this while addressing the anti -drug campaign and drugs crushing programmes s arranged at ‘RAB-7 office premises last afternoon as chief guest.
The home minister said concerned agencies have started anti-drugs programs in three phases and govt is trying to refrain the new generations from the addictions of drugs. He also set references of Sundarban as dens of pirates once but now this sundarban turns pirates free tourism friendly areas.
Minister also said coxsbazar is the main gateway of entering yabas and now trafficking of yabas through this route became more lessened following the vigorous comprising of RAB, Police, BGB ,Coast Guard and other law enforcing members Commandant of RAB Lt Col Mashiur Rahman Jewel presided the programs duly attended by Kujendra Lal Tripura MP, Hahabibur Rahman MP,
Faridul Hoque Khan MP, Pir Fazlur Rahman MP, MA Latif MP, DG of RAB Benjir Ahmed ,DIG of chattogram range Khondakar Golam Faruk, ‘CMP commissioner Mahbubur Rahman as special guests.
Among others, Additional Director of Narcotics Control Deptt Mujibur Rahaman Patwary, senior govt, defence and RAB officials were present on the occasion . Home Minister later distributed books on life story of Bangabandhu, drug abuse and militancy among the thousand students of different schools of the patenga areas on the occasion.
