The Holy Shab-e-Meraj‚ the night when the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ascended to the highest levels of heavens‚ will be observed on the night of Thursday across the country with due respect and religious fervour.
The Muslims every year on the 27th night of the Arabic month of Rajab observe the occasion. On this night, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had embarked on a special journey to meet Allah.
In the journey, the Prophet (PBUH) traveled on the “Buraq” to Heaven where Allah gave him instructions to take back to the faithful regarding the details of prayers.
According to the Islamic Foundation, a discussion meeting, prayers and munajat will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on the importance and significance of ‘Merajunnabi (PUBH)’ after Zuhr prayers on Thursday.
The event will be chaired by the Director General of the Islamic Foundation Dr. Mushfiqur Rahman.
Former Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Pesh Imam Hafez Maulana Rafiq Ahmad and Jamia Islamia Madrasa Shaykhul Hadith Dr. Mawlana Mushtaq Ahmad will present.
