77-100pc pay hike for govt employees likely

Staff Reporter :The National Pay and Service Commission is going to submit its report today (Thursday) recommending a 100 per cent pay hike for the government employees at the rock bottom and 77 per cent for officials at the top, sources said.They said, the Commission has proposed Tk 80,000 as highest salary and Tk 8,200 as lowest for the government employees.The highest and the lowest salaries at the moment are Tk 45,000 and 4,100 respectively.Meanwhile, former Bangladesh Bank Governor Mohammad...
