Beside the Churamoni Pahar, about 40 brick filed grown up recently aimed at using the clay of the hill on easy way.
The influential quarters started digging hill earth with 20-30 feet deep for supply the clay to these unauthorised brick fileds. As a result the environment as well as the biodiversity now in danger in these areas.
While visiting our Satkania correspondent in these areas detected that surrounding areas of these brick fields belong to govt reserve forests and easily firing the firewood collecting from the govt forests and unabatedly cutting the hill owned by govt. A number of excavator were deputed in the hill side areas to cut the clay .
Meanwhile the ashes of brick fields are polluting the areas and agri lands are being caused severely . The saplings in the govt reserved forest in Aochia Satkania-Banskhali border are dying gradually.
Besides, the wild animals specifically Elepants are coming down in plain areas in search of the food lack of wild trees in the hill areas and finally local innocent people are being suffered by the sudden attack of wild animals.
Mentionable that in Aochia union out of 17 UPs of Satkania where about 20 brick fields grown up beside the Churamoni Hill . Informed circles observed the concerned govt authority should intervene the matter of indiscriminate hill cutting to save the climate and biodiversity resources otherwise these areas will be damaged very shortly.
