A team of Bangladesh High Tech Park paid courtesy call and exchanged views with the Vice chancellor of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology Prof. Dr. Jahangir Alam at latter’s office conference room recently.
The views exchange meet discussed the matters of installation of ‘CUET IT Business Incubator’ in CUET, CUET Robatics Lab, Animation & Mobile Apps Lab etc under High Tech Park. Among others Pro-VC Dr. Md. Rafiqul Alam, Dean of Civil Engineering Dr. Md. ShamsulArefin, Director of High Tech Park Md. Hasanul Islam, Dy Director Md. Shahiduzzaman, Asstt. Engineer Atiqul Islam and Norothom Paul were present during the discussions. CUET vice chancellor in his brief deliberations emphasized the need of hight IT education and strategic location of Chittagong as main seaport of Bangladesh and mercantile business from this port. He also said CUET is also working relentlessly to create technology based manpower aimed at building digital Bangladesh, sources said.
