Popular model cum actress Ruksana Ali Hera has already passed 10 years in media. She was first seen as a still model of Banglalink taken by photographer Iqbal Ahmed. She also started her career as a model in a visual advertisement of mobile company Airtel under the direction of Amitabh Reza. Under Saiful Islam Mannu she first acted in a TV serial. She secured the one of the top positions in Lux-Channel i Beauty Contest 2008. From that time to till date she has crossed one decade in media.
Hera recently acted in two new serials. Both these serials are being directed by popular actor-director Zahid Hasan. One is ‘Raju 420’ and new serial ‘Don.’ Her roles in these serials are very much significant. Hera acted and Murad Parvez directed serial ‘Radio Jockey O Kotipoy Golpo’ and Aniruddho Russell directed another serial ‘Time’ are being aired on ATN Bangla and Channel 9 respectively now.
Today is birthday of Hera. To celebrate the day she has no specific plan. After birthday she will go to Sirajganj to take part in shooting of serial ‘Raju 420.’ While asking her about working in big screen Hera told this correspondent, “I got many offers to work in movies. But in fact, I had no intention to act in commercial movies. However, few days ago, I did not have interest to work in big screen. Now if I get good story and role I will work. In fact, I want to work in that movie which will help me to establish my position in media.”
Hera also mentioned that on September 29 at Puja place in the city’s Bananai she will perform with film songs. She is daughter of Babu Ali Molla and Salha Ali Belly. Right now she has no plan to get married, Hera mentioned.
