Heavy rain fall at noon to afternoon with thunder bolts paralysed Barishal city life on Friday.
Due to this, city roads in different areas flooded with rainy water and people resided at river sides and lower parts of the town became marooned for many hours.
Of course participants of the first Juma prayer of holy Ramzan embarrassed due to rainfall.
However, the people who observing Ramadan fasting became happier as summer heat decreased by rain fall.
Day labours, hawkars, kitchen market businessmen were not happy as downpour affected their earning for livelihood due to downpour.
Pronab Kumar Roy, Senior Observer at Barishal Met Office, said the downpour with thunderbolts started at about 12:05 PM and continued till 3:00 pm .
