‘Bangladesh’s air quality falling fast’

A global study has warned that the air quality in Bangladesh has been falling fast since 2010, taking the concentration of dangerous substance, known as particulate matter or PM 2.5, in the air to 10 times higher than the maximum level set by the World Health Organisation (WHO).WHO has set the safe level of the substance to 10’g/m3 (one-millionth of a gram) while it was 101’g/m3 in Bangladesh’s air in 2016, according to the State of Global Air-2018 report, released...
