DU observes Mujibnagar Day

Dhaka University observed the historic Mujibnagar Day on Tuesday in a befitting manner marking the anniversary of oath-taking of the country’s first government during the War of Liberation in 1971.On this day, Bangladesh government-in-exile took oath at Baidyanathtala mango orchard in Meherpur, the then Kushtia district, to form the provisional government of independent Bangladesh in the absence of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
