Ismail Hossain (58), Headmaster of 114 No.SP Baraikhali Govt Primary School under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district was forced to enjoy leave on the charge of molesting the chastity of a female teacher of the school, according to a delayed report received here.
It was disclosed by Md. Anisur Rahman, Upazila Primary Education Officer of Morrelganj. He said , the accused headmaster was advised not to go to the school so long no departmental action is taken against him.
It may be mentioned here that on Sunday just after the classes were over the Headmaster requested the female teacher to wait for a bit in order to help him in some official works. Accordingly, she did not leave the school. Then the debauched Headmaster proposed her to make an illicit relation with him. But when shed rejected the proposal the Headmaster clasped her in his arms forcibly and tried to molest her chastity. But she, some how, managed to escape and fled away.
When it was leaked out strong repercussion and resentment were created among the guardians and the local people.
In the following morning the agitated guardians and the locals rushed to the school, gave the Headmaster a gang beating, confined him in the office room of the school and later handed him over to the police. Then they brought the matter to the notice of the Upazila Primary Education Officer for taking necessary action against the Headmaster.
