He is Humayun Ahmed’s Anil

Next Friday a film titled Anil Bagchir Ekdin, which story is based on Humayun Ahmed’s a famous novel, is scheduled to be released. Noted filmmaker Morshedul Islam gave direction of this film.
As Anil, a role of Humayun Ahmed’s novel, Aref Syed is appearing on the screen by this movie. Though he acted in a little bit earlier but Aref Syed acted for the first time in big screen by this movie. Anil Bagchi’r Ekdin will be released in 15 cinema halls across the country on December 11.
While sharing his feelings about the release of his first acted movie Aref Syed told this correspondent, “I am really grateful to Morshedul Islam Sir because he gave me the opportunity to play in role of Humayun Ahmed’s a creation in the movie. It is one of the greatest achievements in my acting career. I have tried my level best to portray the role properly. I believe viewers will enjoy watching the film and also enjoying my acting.” “If the viewers would accept my acting then I will be regular in acting, otherwise not,” Aref added.
Aref Syed was born in Dhaka. After completing O and A levels he achieved bachelor degrees on Computer Science and Economics from University of Colombia, USA. Besides working in USA he was also attached with acting.
After returning to Bangladesh he started acting in theatre plays with the inspiration getting from once popular actress Naila Azad Nupur.
Later he got the scope to act in a short film titled The Professional.
Morshedul Islam was present during the premier show of that short film. He appreciated Aref’s acting and later decided to cast him in role of Anil in his directed movie.
