Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sent seasonal mango fruit to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as gift.
The mangoes were sent to India by a Bangladeshi truck through Benapole Land Port on Sunday afternoon.
Benapole Customs Commissioner Azizur Rahman said Md Samiul Quader, First Secretary (Political) at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata, received the gifted mango loaded truck at the zero point of Petrap ole and Benapole Duty Stations after completion of all the formalities of customs.
There were 2,600 kilograms of mango in the truck which were sent in 260 cartons.
