Khandakar Hasan Munir was elected general secretary of the Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation (BTTF) in the election held at the National Sports Council Tower on Sunday.
Munir bagged 48 votes while his nearest opponent Jobera Rahman Nilu polled 21.
The other office-bearers are: vice-presidents Sheikh Mohammad Jahangir Alam, Munira Morshed Helen, Saidul Haque Sadi and ATM Shamsul Alam Anu, joint secretaries Shamsuzzaman Awal and Samiruddin, and treasurer Tajuddin Pappu.
Executive committee members are Anwar Kabir Chawdhury, Shamima Parveen, Raisul Alam Khan, ANM Aminul Haque Mamun, Golam Maruf Mona, Golam Rabbani, Mahmudur Rahman, Iftekharuzzaman, Chaudhury Ashiqul Hasan, Enamul Haque Selim, Hasan Zahir Mukul, Abdus Salam, Khandakar Al Mamun, Ahsan Ahmed Amit, Sohel Rana and Mahbub Ali.
