A general meeting of Bangladesh Newspapers Agent Association was held on Friday.
In the meeting a full-fledged committee of the association was formed with Harun -or-Rashid (Barisal) and Abubakar Siddique (Netrakona) as President and General Secretary respectively.
The other executives of the committee are: Senior Vice-President-Majibul Haque Master (Chandina), Vice-Presidents- Abdul Mannan (Tangail), Sijul Islam (Sylhet) Ijahar Ali (Jessore), Al-Harun (Chittagong), Hekmat Ullah (Rajshahi), Abul Kashem Gafuri (Comilla), Joint General Secretary-Rokon Uddin Sabur (Gafargaon), Assistant General Secretary-AbdurRrafique Swapon (Bogra), Organising Secretary-Mohammad Ali (Daudkandi), Finance Secretary-Azizul Haque Palash (Narsingdi), Office Secretary-Aiyub Khan (Chittagong), Sports Secretary-Mazharul Islam Panna (Mymensingh) and Women Affairs Secretary-Kohinoor Begum (Tongi, Gazipur).
Members, among others, are- Alam Sikder (Barisal), Omar Ali Sikandar (Madaripur), Abdul Hamid (Kushtia), Humayun Kabir (Khulna), Sanjit Mahajan (Cox’s Bazaar), Delwar Hossain (Bagerhat) and Mohammad Jewel (Rangpur).
