Hasan Ali Fakir, a son of freedom fighter of Chandanaish Upazila alleged against a local opposition influential leader Abdur Rahman alias Babul for his alleged harassment .
Hasan Ali Fakir disclosed it at a press conferneceheld at Chittagong Press Club hall on Saturday afternoon. Hasan ali is the son of a valiant freedom fighter Badrus Meher of North Dewarkul of chandanaish upazila. On behalf of the Hasan Ali Fakir, Advocate Biddut Kanti Barua read out the written statement before the journalists. Hasan Ali in the press meet alleged that LDP leader Babul destroyed his tree plantation garden at Laltia forest beat.
Hasan used to develop nursery in the area but the followers of Babul in connivance with the local forest officials, destroyed the nursery and fruit based plants.
The press meet was told that Babul occupying illegally about 14 khanis of land of the forest beat without any valid documents.
He said after joining of new forest beat officer, the nursery cum tree garden was demolished by cutting all the tress recently. Among others wife of Hasan Ali Mrs. Gulbahar Begum and Advocate Biplab Kanti Mohajan were present .
