Her only son Anik is staying in Canada so internationally acclaimed film actress Bobita has to celebrate her birthday either in Bangladesh or Canada. Today is her birthday. This year she is now in Bangladesh. She will pass the day in Dhaka. But she has no special plan to celebrate the day because Bobita’s younger sister Champa and elder sister Suchonda’s daughter are now outside the country, she informed yesterday. For last few years, Bobita has been working with Distress Children Infant International (DCII) for the betterment of them. She said that after Eid when Bobita’s two sisters will return to country then she wants to celebrate the day with destitute children. Basically she has been engaged with her personal works.
While talking in this regard Bobita told this correspondent, “As the Muslim, we come in this world for the specific time. We have birth and also death. Allah has fixed these. So, when birthday comes I believe I am going to death. There is no meaning to pass the day joyfully. We should keep in mind that the celebration should be under limitation.”
Bobita also said that the first hour of her birthday she will talk to Anik over telephone. “He will also wish me. Anik tells me ‘You are the best mom in the world.’ I realise Anik loves and respects me how much.”
