While the shoot of NTR biopic is in full swing, the makers of the movie are still scouting for the star cast in the film. Hansika Motwani, who has been part of numerous hit films in the past decade in Tollywood, will soon be portraying the role of Jaya Prada in the upcoming much-awaited biopic of Sr NTR, ‘NTR-Kathanayakudu’, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the titular role.
While Hansika has been roped in for playing Jaya Prada, Payal Rajput of ‘RX 100’ fame has been confirmed by the makers to essay the role of Jayasudha in the film. The project was announced early this year and the shooting of the movie is going on at a brisk pace.
The film also features Vidya Balan as Basavatarakam, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram as Nandamuri Harikrishna, Rana Daggubati as Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Manjima Mohan as Nara Bhuvaneswari, Sumanth as Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nithya Menen as Savitri, Rakul Preet Singh as Sridevi, Kaikala Satyanarayana as HM Reddy, Murali Sharma as Aluri Chakrapani, and Ravi Kishan as Ravikant Nagaich.
Bankrolled by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri, ‘NTR-Kathanayakudu’ is scheduled to release on January 9, 2019.
