Dead body of a farmer named Jamal Faraji (55) hanging from a tree recovered at Kalapara upazila in Patuakhali on Friday.
The Kalapara police recovered the dead body from Dakshin Charpara village under Mithaganj union of the upazila around 11 am on Friday.
Mithaganj Union Parishad Chairman Kazi Hemayet Uddin alias Hiron Kazi confirming the report said Jamal Faraji went to his cow-shed around 8 am to free cows go to the surrounding field and his wife went out for collecting fire-wood.
After few hours neighbours found Jamal’s hanging from tree and informed the police.
Kalapara Police Station Officer- in- Charge Md. Jasim said after receiving the news from the locals police rushed to the spot and recovered his hanging dead body. The matter is being investigated legally and action will be taken accordingly.
