Handless Sanju sitting for JSC examination

Teenage Sanju Das leads a normal life though he has no hands since his birth. All obstacles surrendered to his strength, morale confidence and unwavering courage.
 He is using his legs to write answer script in the Junior School Certificate (JSC) eamination.
Sanju Das, son of one Chittaranjan Das of Kandail village under Narsingdi Sadar upazila, is appearing in the JSC examination this year from Purainda KM Sadekur Rahman High School, Arihahajar in Narayanganj.

The matter was noticed during the Information and Communication subject examination at Purinda KM Sadekur Rahman High School on Tuesday.
It is noted that Sanju Das has no hands since birth. His father, Chittaranjan Das has a local fish business. Sanju has two brothers and one sister.
Although he has no hands since childhood, physical disability could not suppress his indomitable will. Sanju Das is participating in the JSC examination by using his feet. He continues to study. He is very talented.
While talking with father Chitta Das, he said, I didn’t allow him for study at first because my son did not have his hands; but seeing his enormous interest to study, I didn’t stop it. Now I rather assist him to continue study. I think once day he will be a great person.
Ali Akbar Sikder, the Acting Officer-in-Charge of the examination hall said, “I was very surprised to see him at the exam hall firstly. Though the boy has no hands, despite he was writing in the examination with his feet.
Finally, I talked to him and found that he was very talented. That is why, as he is disable, I ensured all short of facilities for his betterment. AKM Mofizul Islam, Secretary of Purinda KM Sadekur Rahman High School, said, Sanju Das is a very talented student. His strong desire to study will take him far. Many will be inspired to see him.”
Meanwhile, Sanju Das said that he will go on study and will join government service in future. Besides, my father is a poor man, so I want to help him by getting job in future. He wants everyone’s help and blessings to continue his education.
Araihazar Upazila Executive Officer Sohag Hossain said, we will provide him all kinds of assistance from the upazila administration.
