Handball teams leave for Nepal on Sunday

A 40-member Bangladesh men’s and women’s handball teams will leave for Nepal on Sunday (December 1) to take part in the 13th South Asian Games scheduled to be held in Kathmandu and Pokhara from December 1-10.
Sohel Rana and Shilpi Akter will lead the SA Games bound Bangladesh man’s and woman’s handball teams respectively. Bangladesh handball teams will start their SA Games campaign on December 4, three days after the start of South Asian biggest extravaganza.
All the men’s and women’s group matches will be held at National Sports Council in Pokhara. This time six countries will compete in handball. The grouping and fixture of the games already have been finalized.
