Hamza Apparels Ltd has allegedly constructed boundary wall occupying 67 decimel land which is being used as road of common peoole for at least 100 years at Babanipur area in Bhawalgan under Gazipur Sadar Upazila.
It is alleged that the said company in collusion with local UP Chairman Abu Bakar Siddik and BNP leader Abul Kashem have been hampering the movement of thousands of people of that areas.
In last year, a mobile court fined Hamza Apparels for encroachment of road but later it has no effect. Now they are doing the same thing ignoring the existing laws.
It is learnt that land measuring 67 decumel was registered on March 12, 202 vide deed No 3304 in Gazipur Sadar Subregistry Office.
Obstacling of the road has been causing sufferings to the local people and local elite has urged the authority concern to look into the matter.
